About Vida Building

Vida Building is a reliable supplier of building components and complete pre-fabricated volume buildings made of wood. Our customers consist of building companies, contractors and architects, mainly from Sweden, Germany, England and Holland. As one of four companies in Sweden that are part of the framework agreement with the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKL), we can provide affordable, high-quality, modular apartment buildings to help solve the housing shortage across the country.

Vida Building is the pre-fabricated building provider with a tried-and-tested concept for wall units and intermediate floors. Materials are selected with consideration for both quality and the environment. The raw material comes from spruce trees grown in nearby forests, which is then processed at one of Vida’s sawmills. The wood is visually inspected by experts before it is allowed to become part of a wall unit.

In its new production plant in Växjö, Vida Building can also manufacture modular apartments. We have an efficient and sustainable construction process with the apartments being built indoors which is allows for quality control and cost effectiveness.

At Vida, we design and construct buildings the Småland way – we pride ourselves on the care, efficiency, high quality and service. We care about the details, timetables, communication and finance. Our designers are always looking for new technical solutions for detailed constructions that equip the building for all type of weather to make it durable and comfortable to live in which involves genuine knowledgeable craftsmanship. Materials and details in the production are always adapted to the circumstances that prevail at the location where each building will be placed.
